Our specialty plant that we bring in at Jaemor Farms is the rabbiteye blueberry plant. This variety of blueberry is native to Georgia and grows wild on the river banks in South Georgia. They are very easy to grow in North Georgia or pretty much anywhere in the South. We often have 300-500 blueberry plants on hand and up to ten different varieties. A few of the most popular rabbiteye blueberries are Climax, Brightwell, Powder Blue and Tift Blue.
In order for the plants to pollinate and produce delicious blueberries, you must have two different varieties of blueberry plants. These make excellent tasting, medium to large blueberries. They require little to no pesticides and are relatively maintenance free. We also carry one and three year old blueberry plants if you would like to get a head start of the harvest.
