Spring Farm Field Trips
We are now booking spring field trips for April-May 2018. Please contact Caroline with any questions.
A strawberry field trip in the spring at Jaemor affords an opportunity for students to have a hands-on learning experience while gaining an understanding of how their fruits and vegetables grow. Our objective is to inform, engage and entertain students in Mother Nature’s classroom. Farm tours are essential for educating students on the food they eat, the growing process, nutrition and the farming profession.
Join us Monday through Friday, April 23 through May 20, 2018, for Jaemor's fourth annual season of spring strawberry field trips. *We can be a little flexible on the dates. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Caroline.
Come join the fun on the farm during our first harvest of 2018. On your trip you will enjoy a tour of the farm, learn about honeybees and their jobs as pollinators, visit the strawberry field to experience the berry from seed to fruit. You'll even get to pick some to take home, taste some strawberry cider and much more! Each group will also be able to visit our farm friends at our petting zoo -- 'the Barnyard at Jaemor Farms'
*Note: It's the farm -- you may get dirty so tell your students to dress accordingly!
