About our canning classes:

Our canning classes are hosted by Jaemor Farms in collaboration with the Hall County UGA Extension Service Agent Carin Booth.

We request that each class participant register for our classes online. Once classes are full, if you'd like to be put on a waiting list, please contact Caroline. Our classes are $30/seat.

Our classes are scheduled for three hours. Carin walks participants through the canning process and discusses food safety, in addition to the class going through the hands-on process, step-by-step process of canning a recipe. Participants will be given a packet of information on canning, including the recipe, to take home in addition to one jar of product made while at the class. The only thing class participants need to bring with them to a canning class at Jaemor is an apron!
